Postpartum Doula Support

The first few days and weeks after the arrival of a baby can be challenging. A Postpartum Doula can make this transition easier, helping you enjoy the early days with your baby and learning skills you can rely upon throughout your parenting journey.

A postpartum doula does much more than making healthy family meals or caring for an older child. She can:

  • provide evidence-based information on all things newborn/postpartum;
  • help you make decisions about where your baby will sleep;
  • teach you how to calm a crying baby;
  • support you in your feeding choices (lactation support and/or formula preparation);
  • practice and teach you baby massage;
  • help you change and bathe baby, and teach you how to do this;
  • watch out for signs of postpartum mood disorders;
  • offer referring to medical professionals and other specialists;
  • make nutritious meals for your family;
  • help siblings adjust;
  • do light housekeeping (tidying, vacuuming, etc.) if time permits.

Support is booked in three- or four-hour blocks and a minimum booking of two days is required for first-time clients. Contact us to inquire about prices.

***Currently available only in Busan and surrounding areas. Travel fees might apply.
